Collaborating with ATU Sligo’s Green Spaces Initiative to Bring Nature, Design, and Functionality Together

We’re thrilled to share some of the latest developments from our Makerspace! With so many creative projects flying through the studio, it’s been a whirlwind — but that's always a good sign. One standout is our ongoing collaboration on ATU Sligo's Green Spaces project. This campus-wide initiative aims to enhance and expand ATU’s green spaces, involving a wide range of voices to make meaningful, sustainable improvements.

As part of this effort, we’ve participated in two workshops so far, with another scheduled for September. These sessions have been buzzing with ideas about planting, functionality, and innovative uses for the space. Our role? To help design and produce landscape models, furniture prototypes, planters, architectural elements, and other structures. We’re advising on every detail, from design to creation, to make sure these spaces are both beautiful and practical.

Stay tuned for more updates on this project and other exciting developments at ATU’s new creative hub.
